All-Star Mentorship
MHFA and PVH have launched an initiative to promote a new movement in fashion that upholds multi-cultural identities and recognizes the innovation of fashion creatives. Their objectives include celebrating cultural diversity, fostering inclusivity and representation for marginalized groups, and providing a platform for emerging fashion creatives to showcase their talents.
About PVH
“With driving fashion forward for good at the core of everything we do, our new partnerships will help PVH make a greater global impact in our communities,” said Stefan Larsson, Chief Executive Officer, PVH Corp. “As a company, we are committed to making a difference with inclusion and diversity, and we look forward to elevating the next generation of innovators around the world.”
PVH through the PVH Foundation, works with non-profit partners to support programming for high school students and training for individuals seeking new career opportunities in the fashion industry. High school students from underrepresented communities learn about potential career options, while individuals from “non-traditional” talent pipelines, such as those re-entering the workforce or seeking a career change, post-high school students who are not college graduates and immigrants leverage skill-building and practical training to prepare for success in the industry.
Our Mentors
Our All- Star mentors are active and tenured industry leaders who are committed to the empowerment and success of each mentee. Our mentors will work closely with the mentees to create a personalized action plan that takes into account their individual strengths, interests, and career goals.
The All Star mentorship program offers more than just aspirational guidance – it provides mentees with tangible tools and resources to help them succeed. By participating in the program, mentees will gain a deeper understanding of the fashion industry and what it takes to succeed in this dynamic field. They will also gain access to a network of industry professionals who can provide additional guidance and support.
